Everyone talks about great customer service. But that means different things to different people. Anyone can say “We’re #1 in Customer Service”. But what does that really mean? How do you know if your expectations will be met? What their version of “great customer service” is far low than what you are expecting?
Well then, here’s what great customer service means to me. This is what I expect to see when I’m a customer. So being fair, this is also what I strive to deliver to my customers. Because I want you to know exactly where you stand when you hire me to work on your rain gutters.
Defining Great Customer Service
Great customer service involves meeting and surpassing expectations. And how do I know what your expectations are? I’ll ask you! And then I’ll tell you what I’ll be doing to meet them. You’ll get the feeling of how important you are to me. Because I deeply value each of my customers. To me, the best customer service is anticipating the customer’s needs before they arise. By listening to the customer really well and doing what they want without them having to ask me twice, I feel I’m providing a service they can truly value.
You’ll experience a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude from me and my crew. The idea is to leave a lasting impression on customers by working with them and assisting them in the best way possible. Great service means making each and every aspect of the customer’s experience an absolutely positive one. Over the years I’ve gained repeat customers through my consistent positive attitude and my exceptional ability to thoroughly answer customer questions- ensuring I always provide the best advice possible. I believe that effective people and communication skills are what set my service apart from others.
I also believe that excellent customer service involves being an expert on the products sold in order to help people make good decisions. It important that my customers know I am not there just to sell them something. I am there to provide affordable solutions to their rain gutter problems. With over 30 years in this business I’ve seen lots of jobs and been in lots of different situations. So I know what works best on what structures. And I know the bet way to install each unique product to that it’s done right the first time and last for a long time.
Going the Extra Mile
Going the extra mile matters to me and hopefully it does to you too. I always ensure my customers are completely satisfied with their decisions. And then I work effectively to resolve any issues if they arise. I enjoy what I do. And being good at what I do, hopefully they find value in that.
Living the Golden Rule
Customer service is about doing the right thing, and at the right time. Also by living the Golden Rule of “Do unto others as you have them do unto you”.
So in conclusion, good customer service, to me, is meeting the customer’s expectations. But great customer service means exceeding them in more ways than just doing a good job. It’s about being a good person while doing it.
So now that you know who I am hopefully you feel comfortable enough to contact me for your rain gutter needs.
